Overview
Explore the spectacular nature reserve which is part of the Cape Floral Kingdom World Heritage Site. Cape Point was originally named the Cape of Storms by Bartolomeu Dias in 1488 due to the treacherous storms that forced ships onto the rocks. The area features two lighthouses including the original 1859 tower at 238m above sea level and the more powerful 1914 lighthouse situated lower down to remain visible during heavy mist and fog.

Travel via Ou Kaapse Weg mountain pass with breathtaking vistas of Kommetjie and Scarborough.
Cape Point
Explore the nature reserve and lighthouse trails. Enjoy an optional 40 minute hike to the Cape of Good Hope.
Boulders Beach
Visit Simonโs Town and spend time within metres of the endangered African penguins at Boulders Beach.
