Itinerary
Scenic Drive to the Overberg
Depart Cape Town and travel via the historic Sir Lowry’s Pass to the Cape Overberg. Stop at a farm stall for pastries before continuing through the farming town of Caledon to Bredasdorp to visit the Shipwreck Museum.
Cape Agulhas Lighthouse
Arrive at Cape Agulhas to visit the second-oldest working lighthouse in South Africa. Climb the 71 steps for a panoramic view of the official meeting point of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans.
Return via Hermanus and Betty’s Bay
Return to Cape Town along the scenic coastal route. Stop in Hermanus for refreshments and a walk around the market. If time permits visit the African penguin colony at Stony Point in Betty’s Bay.
