Itinerary

Day 1 Table Mountain Hike

After pick-up from your hotel you will be driven to the Lower Cable Station. After a safety briefing set off on the India Venster route to the summit. Stop at viewpoints for snacks and photos of Lion’s Head and the harbour. At the Upper Cable Station explore the top before taking the cable car down. If the cableway is closed the descent will be hiked via Platteklip Gorge.

  • Fitness Level Good level of fitness required with no health issues
  • Difficulty The route involves scrambling and steep ladders and is not suitable for those with a fear of heights
  • Cable Car Ticket The cost of the cable car ticket down is excluded
  • Descent Option Hiking down via Platteklip Gorge can be arranged upon booking
