This 3-day safari offers a rare blend of luxury and authentic wilderness at Gondwana Family Lodge within the Sanbona Nature Reserve. Just 3.5 hours from Cape Town this malaria-free reserve is nestled in the Little Karoo and offers views of the Bellair Dam and Anysberg Mountains. The lodge is a spacious sanctuary designed for families and offers interactive game drives to see the Big Five along with diverse flora and ancient San rock art. The package includes transfers from Cape Town and all meals and selected beverages.

Itinerary
Day 1 Cape Town to Gondwana Family Lodge
Be ready for your transfer between 08:30 and 09:00 from your Cape Town location. You will arrive at the welcome lounge by 12:30 for the transfer to the lodge. After lunch and relaxation you will experience your first interactive sundowner game drive to spot diverse wildlife before returning for dinner.
Day 2 Karoo Safari and Exploration
Start your day early with a sunrise nature drive through the quartz fields of the succulent Karoo. Enjoy a hot beverage during the drive before returning for a late breakfast. Relax before and after lunch or enjoy the lodge facilities. Be ready for another sunset game drive in the late afternoon followed by dinner.
Day 3 Morning Safari and Departure
Enjoy a final early morning sunrise drive and breakfast. You will be transferred back to the Welcome Lounge by 12:30 to meet your transport for the return journey to Cape Town.
