Itinerary
Day 1: Cape Town to Oudtshoorn via Route 62
Depart Cape Town for a scenic drive along Route 62. Spend the afternoon exploring the Cango Caves and a working ostrich farm followed by an authentic Karoo dinner. Overnight in Oudtshoorn.
Day 2: Oudtshoorn and Knysna to Storms River
Travel over the Swartberg Pass with a stop at the Map of Africa viewpoint. Explore the Knysna Heads and Waterfront before continuing to Storms River for the night.
Day 3: Tsitsikamma and Addo to Jeffrey’s Bay
Hike to the Storms River Hanging Bridge in Tsitsikamma National Park. Transfer to Addo Elephant National Park for a late-afternoon game drive then overnight in Jeffrey’s Bay.
Day 4: Jeffrey’s Bay and Bloukrans to Mossel Bay
Stop at the Bloukrans Bridge for optional bungee jumping. Arrive at a private game reserve for a late-afternoon safari and overnight stay near Mossel Bay.
Day 5: Mossel Bay to Hermanus and Cape Town
Explore Mossel Bay before driving to Hermanus for whale-watching and local markets. Visit the African Penguin colony at Betty’s Bay then return to Cape Town by 17:00.
