This 5-day group adventure provides a professional and affordable way to explore the very best of South Africa’s southern coastline and semi-desert interior. Departing every Monday from Cape Town: the tour traverses the picturesque Whale Route and the Little Karoo and the lush forests of the Garden Route. You will visit the genuine spot where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans converge at Cape Agulhas and experience a Big Five safari in the Addo Elephant National Park. The itinerary is designed for active travelers and includes canoeing in Wilderness National Park and hiking the suspension bridges over Storms River. Guests can choose between social backpacker lodges or private guesthouse accommodation for their four nights on the road. The tour concludes in the city of Gqeberha after a final morning of game viewing: making it an ideal choice for those continuing their journey along the Sunshine Coast or flying to their next destination.

Itinerary
Day 1 Cape Town to Cape Agulhas via Hermanus
Depart Cape Town for the Whale Coast. Stop at Betty’s Bay to see endangered penguins. Explore Hermanus before reaching the southernmost tip of Africa at Cape Agulhas. Overnight in Agulhas or Struisbaai.
Day 2 Cape Agulhas to Oudtshoorn via Route 62
Travel along the world’s longest wine route into the Little Karoo. Enjoy local wine tasting and an ostrich farm tour at sunset with views of the Swartberg mountains. Overnight in Oudtshoorn.
Day 3 Wilderness National Park to Sedgefield
Cross the Outeniqua Pass to explore Wilderness National Park. Canoe up the Touw River and hike to a hidden waterfall before visiting the beautiful Sedgefield beach. Overnight in Sedgefield.
Day 4 Knysna and Tsitsikamma to Addo
Visit the Knysna Heads viewpoint before heading to the Bloukrans Bridge for optional bungee jumping. Explore Tsitsikamma National Park then head into Big Five country. Overnight in the Addo area.
Day 5 Addo Elephant Park Safari and Gqeberha
Spend the morning on safari tracking over 600 elephants and lions and buffalo in Addo. The tour concludes in Gqeberha at approximately 14 00 for drop-offs at the airport or hotels.

- Age Limit Guests must be between 18 and 65 years old and fit enough for an active tour

- Conclusion Note The tour ends in Gqeberha and we recommend booking flights after 15:00
- Shark Diving Note Guests choosing shark diving on Day 1 will miss the Hermanus segment
