Overview
This 3-day safari offers a balanced blend of relaxation and wildlife exploration. You will stay in 3-star thatched chalets at Manyane or Bakgatla Resort located at the edge of the Pilanesberg National Park. The itinerary features four sunrise and sunset drives in open safari vehicles along with one closed-vehicle orientation drive. This transition zone between the Kalahari and the Lowveld provides a unique backdrop for tracking the Big Five and over 350 bird species. The package includes return transfers from Johannesburg or Pretoria as well as park fees and professional guiding throughout your journey.

Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival and Sunset Safari
Morning pickup from your address followed by a 3-hour transfer to the reserve. Enjoy an introductory game drive in a closed vehicle and a lunch stop at the Pilanesberg Centre. After checking into your chalet you will join an afternoon open-vehicle safari. The day ends with a hearty dinner at the resort. Included Dinner.
Day 2 Full Day in the Bush
Wake up early for coffee and rusks before a 3-hour sunrise game drive. Return to the resort for a full breakfast and spend the midday relaxing by the pool. In the late afternoon you will head out for your second open-vehicle safari of the day to track predators. Included Breakfast and Dinner.
Day 3 Morning Drive and Return
Enjoy a final 3-hour sunrise safari in an open vehicle to capture any missing Big Five sightings. After breakfast and check-out you will take a final closed-vehicle drive through the park. The return journey to Johannesburg concludes with a late afternoon drop-off. Included Breakfast.
