Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival and Sandton Leisure
Upon your arrival at O.R. Tambo International Airport a private transfer will take you to the Radisson Blu Hotel Sandton. Check into your room or suite and spend the remainder of the day at leisure. You can enjoy the hotel pool or explore the nearby Sandton City shopping precinct. Dinner is for your own account at the hotel or a local restaurant.
Day 2 Pilanesberg Wildlife Safari
Enjoy an early breakfast before departing for a 2.5-hour scenic drive to the Pilanesberg National Park. The day includes captivating game viewing in an open safari vehicle to track the Big Five and other endemic species. A delicious lunch is served at a park lodge before an afternoon drive. You will return to Sandton in the early evening. Dinner is for your own account.
Day 3 Soweto Heritage and Departure
After breakfast you will embark on a guided tour of Soweto visiting Vilakazi Street and the former homes of Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu. A traditional township lunch is included before a visit to the Apartheid Museum to learn about the nation history. The tour concludes with a transfer back to the airport for your evening flight. Departure is scheduled for 17h00.
