Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival and Sunset Safari
Morning pickup from your address in Johannesburg or Pretoria followed by a transfer to the reserve. Arrive at Pilanesberg for an introductory 3-hour game drive in an open safari vehicle to track the Big Five. Check into the 5-star Ivory Tree Game Lodge for a gourmet lunch. After some leisure time join your ranger for a sunset game drive capturing the bush as nocturnal animals emerge. The day concludes with a sumptuous dinner in the starlit boma or restaurant. Included Lunch and Dinner.
Day 2 Full Safari Immersion
Rise early for a 3-hour sunrise game drive to witness predators in action. Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast and spend the midday enjoying the spa or the swimming pool. After lunch and a delightful High Tea embark on your second sunset game drive of the tour seeking out elusive wildlife wonders under golden skies. Dinner is served at the lodge restaurant. Day 3 Dawn Drive and Departure
Start with a final 3-hour sunrise game drive to capture any remaining sightings on your list. Return to the lodge for a flavorful breakfast and check-out. At midday you may join a short orientation game drive in a closed vehicle for one last wildlife fix before departing the reserve at 15 00. Arrival back at your drop-off point in the city is scheduled for late afternoon. Included Breakfast.
