Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival and Underground Hide Views
Morning pickup from your address in Johannesburg or Pretoria followed by a transfer to the Pilanesberg. Begin your safari with an introductory 3-hour open-vehicle game drive to track the Big Five before checking into Kwa Maritane Bush Lodge. After a gourmet lunch spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool or visiting the underground hide. Join the lodge ranger for a sunset game drive followed by an African-themed dinner at the restaurant. Included Lunch and Dinner.
Day 2 Full Safari Exploration
Rise early for an exhilarating 3-hour sunrise game drive to catch the morning light and active wildlife. Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast and enjoy the world-class facilities such as the tennis courts or the waterslide. After lunch depart for your second sunset safari of the tour seeking out elusive predators and nocturnal species. Dinner is served under the stars at the lodge. Day 3 Dawn Drive and Departure
Enjoy a final 3-hour morning game drive in an open safari vehicle to search for any remaining animal sightings. Return to the lodge for a filling breakfast and time for a last visit to the waterhole hide. At midday you may join a short orientation game drive in a closed vehicle as you head toward the park exit. The return journey to Johannesburg begins at 15 00 with arrival scheduled for late afternoon. Included Breakfast.
