Overview
This 3-hour shared safari offers a thrilling and cost-effective way to experience the biodiversity of the 55,000-hectare Pilanesberg National Park. Departing from convenient locations such as Sun City Resort or the Bakubung Gate: you will join other travelers in a specially designed open-top safari vehicle that provides unobstructed views for photography and wildlife watching. A certified field guide will lead the excursion: sharing expert insights into the park ecosystem and animal behaviors. Guests can choose between sunrise: mid-morning: or sunset departure times to suit their schedule. The drive focuses on finding the Big Five as well as the diverse cast of zebras and giraffes and various antelope species that inhabit this ancient volcanic crater.

Itinerary
3-Hour Professional Safari Drive
Your adventure begins with a pickup from your designated meeting point at Sun City or the Bakubung Gate. After boarding the open-top vehicle: you will head into the heart of the Pilanesberg National Park. Throughout the three-hour drive: your guide will track wildlife and explain the complex interactions of the local ecosystem. You will have the chance to witness lions and elephants and rhinos alongside a variety of bird species and plains game. The tour concludes with a return drop-off at your original starting point.
