Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Hippo Pool Views:
Morning pickup from your address in Johannesburg or Pretoria followed by a comfortable transfer to the Pilanesberg. Begin your safari with an intimate 10-seater open-vehicle game drive to track the Big Five before checking into Bakubung Bush Lodge. After a gourmet lunch: spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool or hippo deck. Join the lodge ranger for a sunset game drive in a 20-seater vehicle: followed by an African-themed dinner at the restaurant.
Day 2: Sunrise Safari and Leisure:
Early sunrise game drive in an open vehicle to witness the bush awakening. Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast. The morning is yours to enjoy the gym: tennis courts: or spa. An optional final game drive is available at midday before departing the reserve at 15:00. Arrival back at your drop-off point in the city is scheduled for approximately 17:30.
