Itinerary
Day 1 Adventure Begins at Tlou Tented Camp
Depart Johannesburg between 05:30 and 06:30 arriving at Pilanesberg by 08:45. Enjoy a 3-hour morning game drive followed by lunch. Check into Tlou Tented Safari Camp around 13:30. Depart at 16:00 for a sunset game drive returning for a boma dinner under the stars.
Day 2 Full Day Safari at Tlou
Wake early for a sunrise game drive from 05:30 to 08:30. Return for breakfast and spend the day relaxing or exploring the Bagatla tribal areas. At 16:00 venture out for a sunset and night game drive seeking nocturnal animals. Dinner is served at the boma.
Day 3 Transfer to Ivory Tree Game Lodge
Start with a sunrise game drive from 05:30 to 08:30. After breakfast transfer to Ivory Tree Game Lodge and check in around 11:00. Enjoy a gourmet lunch and time to relax. Set out at 16:00 for a sunset game drive pursuing the Big Five before a sumptuous dinner.
Day 4 Sunrise and Sunset Safaris
Begin with a sunrise game drive from 05:30 to 08:30. Return for breakfast and relax by the pool or try archery. After lunch head out at 16:00 for a sunset and night game drive tracking nocturnal creatures. Dine at the boma.
Day 5 Final Safari and Departure
Wake early for a final sunrise game drive from 05:30 to 08:30. Return for breakfast and pack up. Enjoy a 2-hour game drive in a closed vehicle between 11:00 and 11:30 or relax at the lodge. Depart mid-afternoon arriving in Johannesburg between 17:30 and 18:00.
